 Entry Requirements - (Fact)
 New Requirements for Travelers
In January 2007, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda will be required to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document. MORE INFO
A driver's license is not proof of citizenship. Citizens of other countries must check with the Jamaican Consulate, Jamaica Tourist Board or Air Jamaica regarding entry requirements. In flight, you will need to fill out Declaration Forms to present to the Customs Offices at the airport. Some restricted items are flowers, fruits, vegetables and meats (unless canned), plants and firearms. | ............................................................ |

 Airport Arrival - (Fact)
You should plan to arrive in Jamaica at the Montego Bay International Airport (MBJ).
As for all passengers the process for clearing immigration, the claiming of your luggage and the clearing of customs is really simple being that Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay Jamaica is not like airports in the states with regards to size.
The process will go like this, once debarking from your airplane you will be directed to immigration. This will be less then a 3 minute walk once you get off your airplane. After clearing immigration you will walk down a set of stairs to claim your luggage. From there you will be directed to the customs counter, which is right behind the luggage claim area.
After clearing customs leave the main terminal customs area through large doors and enter the transportation pick up area. This is about a 300 foot walk.
Your private driver will be there with a sign that says,"Rennie's Tours". If by chance you do not see him go to the dispatch desk (or dispatcher near customs doors) and ask for your driver. They will ask for your name and locate your driver.
TIP: If you use porters tip them $.50/bag.
You will be amazed how simple this process will be!
